Climate Change Exposure for Insurers

This course is intended to give adjusters and insurance professionals a thorough knowledge and understanding of the current climate change lawsuits and emerging risks associated with climate change. This will include insurance and reinsurance issues, first and third-party exposures, U.S. and foreign litigation, claims control clauses, reference to how the issue may be approached based on current settled case law involving MTBE and asbestos. Current Fraud and Other Improper Schemes in CAT Claims

This course is intended to give adjusters and insurance professionals a thorough knowledge and understanding of the current fraud and other improper schemes arising in catastrophe claims. This will include fabricated damage, inflated estimates, fake replacement cost coverage invoices, multiple submissions for same damage, contractors engaged in the unauthorized practice of public adjusting, appraisal schemes, and other emerging schemes.
